I saw the film with great interest and I appreciated the photographic composition, enhanced by the remarkable relevance of the luministic component, the hypnotic fixity of the camera and the bright colors of the costumes. Beyond the sound component, obviously fundamental, I think that the images perfectly reflect the Caravaggesque aesthetic and its peculiar use of light sources, a practice that, to date, I had seen replicate, even if with darker and apocalyptic tones, only in a film like “Confortorio” by Paolo Benvenuti, a director who is too independent and therefore excluded from traditional distribution. I thank this experience, I congratulate Francesco Vitali and his commendable figurative research and with your Foundation, wishing you the success that the film deserves also in Shanghai. … It is an extraordinary creation, which I have not yet completely absorbed. I find the use of the harp for the music pieces quite convincing because it preserves the substance of the music and is most adequate for the room in which the dancer explores the space. A lutenist or harpsichordist would not be as effective in this medium.
