After the success of her recent recording, “Favourite Adagios”, the pianist Elizabeth Sombart returns to London to make selections from the album with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a completely new environment. The Adagio movements of the great piano concertos are emphasized against the beloved orchestral works in a special performance by musique et lumière, directed by Pierre Vallet.
